Is it possible that you are part of this group, that you have negative thoughts, that your mind is sabotaging you, and ruining everything and you are not yet aware?

Experimentation has taught us that two people in similar circumstances and obliged to solve the same problem can freely and spontaneously choose different possibilities and that their decision obeys simply to their free form of being. But this way of being is determined by their way of thinking, which is governed by patterns of behavior; in this case, it is thought patterns that create paradigms. But the paradigms are not congenital, so we think the way we think because we learned to think like that; about ourselves, life, or our abilities. So the mind can adopt a tendency to think negatively as a priority, particularly when faced with difficult situations of pressure or decision.

And I’m getting into a matryoshka here, but if it starts from the point that the mindset is preponderant to conquer what you want in life, and the mindset is in many cases incorrect because that was learned at the time, mindset composed of thoughts. Therefore, it will be necessary to pay continuous attention to these thoughts in order to find out what their natural, negative, or positive inclination is.

Even more important is the understanding that the human mind is never empty; there is no state of no thought at all, it is always in a continuous process, it never stops, as long as it works, it is always thinking in one way or another. It is its quintessential essence, a mind without thoughts makes little sense, it would be like an empty vessel. However, the vast majority of thoughts circulating in the brain occur below the radar of conscious awareness, which means that although the brain is processing, you are not aware of what you are thinking and this is where the importance of permanent observation lies, in order to correct every sign of negative thinking or contrary to your aspirations.

If you are thinking that this line of thought is not important due to being an unconscious state, you are wrong. Being aware of thought only indicates that you now have knowledge of its existence, not that it was not there indefinitely.

This series of thoughts under the radar and whose character is of a negative order are those that must be attacked, and given due attention because they may be the culprits of adopting an inexplicable and automatic incorrect mindset. In simple words, it is a sabotaging mental state, which gives alarm signals and promotes doubt, and fear, and then renunciation and failure. It is a mindset that does not like pain, worry, nor stress, that does not want challenges or discomfort. Its purpose is to protect the individual, even if this means the renunciation of any ambition or desire for growth.

That mindset is an enemy. That series of thoughts must be detected and corrected, the exercise would be to ask yourself during the day “What am I thinking of at this moment? Do these thoughts help me? Am I motivated? Am I focused? Am I generating confidence?”
And this can be done anywhere: in the middle of traffic, while you have coffee, or at work in a difficult or demanding situation. In this way, incorrect thoughts are detected and supplanted by powerful thoughts of success and confidence. It is redirecting the mind to make sure that you are always focused and committed to taking things forward.

A perfect example would be procrastination. Because when this happens and the priority of time is diverted to make unimportant things, even knowing that there are very important pending commitments, waiting to be resolved. hen comes the whole feeling of guilt, a great charge of conscience because time was deliberately lost; that is to be totally out of focus, lost, and disoriented.

There, if the distracting thought had been detected at the right time, and replaced by positive words such as “focus, focus, focus” “I need to do this. I want to do this. I’m going to do what I have to do and only that …” and I will not stop until I get it.” That would be a revolutionary change in the thinking matrix of the brain, a decisive change in the level of production and effectiveness to meet the goals!

The permanent repetition of new positive ways of thinking as an alternative, instead of listening and attending to the disorder and lack of control of thoughts that invite fear and to give up, will be a powerful tool, a superpower to take control over life and overcome that self instinct that restricts you and overprotects you.

Something very useful is to make a list of positive, motivating, super-powerful words or phrases to use as a mantra and so on to write whenever a negative thought is detected: “I am good.” I am capable. I am efficient. I am a compliment.”

Being a high-performance professional should be a goal for everyone who reads these words. Your skills and knowledge will give you the tools, but the vision, focus, and determination will build the road and build bridges where there are abysses. The quality of the mental state and the high flight of the thoughts are moldable characteristics. We will have to relearn if it is necessary because we will accept predetermined things unless they are for good things and for what suits us. I want a programmed and predetermined mind to succeed. The problems can be many, however, the best solution to these is not specific but conceptual. Understanding how each of the alignments works (inline, block or inline-block), or how to access them through the property (display), will remove that headache.

All HTML tags can be classified into line or block tags. A line tag is one that occupies only the space necessary to display its content, and allows that other elements been placed next to it.

Instead, a block tag occupies the entire available screen width and does not allow another element to be placed next to it, even if it has enough space.

<a>, <img>, <strong>, <span>, <input>, <code>

So the answer to the question of how to change the block behavior of these tags to adjust the layout freely is in the use of the property “display”. Applying the “display” on the element, for example, display: inline  or block,  or display: inline-block, you can arrange the movement at your discretion, but you must take into account the following considerations:

1. The display: inline, allows the side-by-side alignment of the objects but makes them no longer apply adjustments such as margins, padding, or even size settings. 

In this example, we have <span> tags, whose display type is inline, by default, with the letters A, B, and C inside. 

With some CSS styles, we have given them a background and some rules of size and space. However, we can see that these rules are not being respected. We got the alignment we wanted, but the sizes and margins are wrong.

2. The display: block, on the other hand, does respect the rules, but would then prevent us from displaying that content in the way that is wanted according to the design. 

The CSS styles have not been changed, only the display: block line has been added.

3. Fortunately, this duality can be solved with a third way, which is the display: inline-block. This represents the best of both worlds, allowing the desired alignment to be achieved without side effects.

CONCLUSION

You can use display: inline-block, in preference over the previous ones. Note, however, that the relative, fixed, or absolute position of the container <div> also interferes with the position of its internal elements, so apply this logic not only to the particular element or object but to its dominant parent.

ADVICE

Manipulating the visualization of objects with “display” or floating them with “float”, (which forces, although stipulated otherwise, a block-like behavior), is not the best way to organize a layout or achieve alignments. I invite you to make incursions into the world of the flexbox or CSS grid, and to use the display: flex as a new paradigm.

This article is aimed for those people who, regardless of the reason, attempt to change their website or their blog developed in WordPress from an external hosting to a local one, localhost, but retaining the content and functionalities of their websites intact. 
This procedure is quite interesting because, with an exact and functional local copy of your website (it only works on your computer), you have the possibility to do all the tests, updates or changes you want, in a controlled and even friendlier environment. If something fails or breaks,

or a “mission: impossible” self-destruct message appears, it’s ok; nothing happens, it is just a copy of your website.

Let’s begin, it is just four simple steps:

1. Start by creating a copy or backup of all of the content of the website.

If your website is hosted on an external server, which is the common scenario, you can obtain this backup either through a specialized plugin such as Duplicator or through the “backup” option that is included in the interface of any Cpanel.

If for some reason the database file was not included in this backup (it is a file in .sql format), you must make that copy manually by going to phpMyAdmin, selecting the database in the correct SQL format, then selecting the “export” button.  

If your website is in a Github repository in its full version, it’s even easier. (Remember that we are talking about pages that are built with WordPress). You just need to make the clone or fork of that repository, a direct download, or a copy-paste to have the complete folders on your computer’s hard drive, including a copy of the website database file.

Save this backup or copy of your website in a new folder (folder name can be “backup-my-site”), then paste that folder in “my documents” or on the desktop.

If you made a Github clone or a download, delete the .git folder that has been automatically attached to the files unless your intention is to later upload the project to Github.

2. Copy and paste the backup into the localhost.

As you should know, the localhost allocates a folder to locate projects there. In my case, the localhost is called Xampp, and the folder for this purpose is htdocs.

In that folder, copy and paste the backup of your website. Remember to unzip it if it is a zip file, or if you made a new folder to save the backup, you must take the backup from that folder and paste it in the localhost folder with its original name (as you received it from the external host).

3. Import of the database.

Inside the backup, there is a file in .SQL format. This file contains information about the website database. WordPress requires a connection to the database to function, but that connection does not happen automatically, the connection must be done manually. Here’s how:

Go to phpMyAdmin

The localhost that you are using probably has an option, it will be just a button to click on. If there is no such button, then in the browser enter this address: http://localhost/phpMyAdmin

Create an empty database

In phpMyAdmin, click on the “databases” button. Then you will see a text field to name the new database. The collation should be utf 8, as usual, and then you must click the “create” button.

Import the database

Inside the new empty database, (you will see a notice that says: “No tables found in database”), you are going to import the old database. Just press the “import” button, an Options panel will open with a “choose file” button, select that button, the file search window of your computer will open, and from there you just have to simply go to the location of the file .SQL and select it.

The name of the .SQL file will have been added to the right side of the “Choose file” button. Now just look at the bottom right of the screen for the “Go” button and select it. A success message will appear on the screen showing your database has been successfully finished.

4. Update the connection data in wp-config.php.

Inside the project folders, which are now on the localhost, there is a file called wp-config. The connection data is stored there. Please find that document, open it in a Notepad ++ or Sublime Text type code editor, and update the data if needed. You can also change the file name to include “localhost” if you want.

Many times it will not be necessary to make modifications, but it is essential to do this verification from the beginning to avoid future problems.

And that’s practically it! You just have to put in the browser the name of your website preceded by the word localhost. You are now ready to “do and undo” everything you want. Have fun!

Insecurity traces you a wrong path, it overprotects you, restricts you, limits you, avoids problems it deems unnecessary, keeps you always comfortable and warm in that area where you are always: same friends, same places, same jobs; and if everything goes well, in its order, it will fulfill its duty; you will always be the same, there will be no growth, you will not lead any cause, you will not generate changes or influences, you will simply take what you can from life and you will not give much in return or as payment. You will waste your talent, possibly out of focus and perhaps even the progress of a whole generation. Being a “nobody” is not only what you are, but it is also what we will be because the movement is cut off, the momentum is stopped, and that is a very important and valuable thing always in life. 

Being insecure is not the same as being undecided, because being undecided is not knowing what you want. Being insecure is knowing what you want but feeling unable to achieve it.

However, the disability, which has to do with the lack of skills, can be eliminated as long as you obtain the necessary skills or competencies, and when that happens, and now you are a diligent and apt person, you will find out that still, you feel uncertainty, shy and afraid of undertaking things. And the fear will stop you then and you will prefer better to continue with your normal life and to discard thus, for a couple of years more, any idea of ​​change.

You are always listening to the wrong voices, you are having incorrect conversations with yourself, you are negatively evaluating your own experiences and distrusting your knowledge. You are thinking badly and talking bad about yourself, as you would not with any other person (and that is what is deteriorating you) because surely you would be incapable of thinking this bad of someone you know and love, and you would not dare to speak badly about him or her, or generate rumors, and I’m sure you would not be so severe at the time of judging that person, you would forgive his shortcomings consequently, you would support him and encourage him whatever the circumstances.

That is part of the philosophy of love. Should not you apply the same standard on yourself?

Happily, self-confidence is something that can be reconstructed.

A radical change of focus, that is what has to be done. Everyone has flaws, problems, and failures. We also have talents, and abilities, and triumphs, it is up to us to focus on either of them. Change the perspective, superimpose the good on the bad. This only change is already a virtue in itself. Plus point.

Recognize your potential over all things. Super important. You may be where you are as a result of your weaknesses and failures, but that has already happened, you have to learn to forgive yourself and learn to love the formation and teaching after each fall. But failure is not the only thing that exists in your life, there has to be a victory, at least one, and I want you to take it in your hands and raise it up now as if it were a banner. On that stone! you will build a castle.

You must also create a step-by-step routine. You have to study and prepare to add new knowledge. Because you cannot grow until you expand the level of knowledge and you can not specify any kind of change initiative without establishing strong routines that constitute new habits. Build your own image and likeness, choose to be better, choose to believe in yourself as nobody else and as never before. I promise that this transformation will not make you wait for results; There will be someone who will notice that change. There are always people watching, people need and want to have leaders, who would not want to be like you? Do you think you have nothing to teach? You are persisting in error. You have it all. Trust in it.
